Near my allotted time I spent 10 mins fervently flicking back and forth between the permit portal, my calendar and a clock telling me the time in California so I could log in at exactly 11:02:29. Fortunately, due to an early time slot I no days were filled. My original plan was to pick Mon 14th April but for some reason Tuesday 15th was filling up much faster. Thinking everyone knew something I didn’t I grabbed one of the last (30/35) slots available for that day. Now I just need to wait up to 3 weeks for confirmation but everything is now starting to feel a lot more real.
